On May 26th, the 2nd China-ASEAN and neighboring countries big data policing international exchange and cooperation forum hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, Guizhou Provincial Public Security Department and Guizhou Police College opened in Gui'an New District.
With the theme of “Big Data and Social Governance Modernization”, this forum inherits the tradition of “the theory and practice” of the first forum, and carries out high-end dialogue and academic exchange from the two levels of theory and practice.Under the background of big data, the forum discuss how to combine special governance, system governance, comprehensive governance, legal governance and source governance and work together to promote the modernization of social governance systems and governance capabilities, and build an exchange platform for the policing departments, research institues and scholars in China-ASEAN and neighboring countries.
With the presence of leaders, police officers and liaison from 20 countries and international organizations i.e. Tajikistan, Myanmar, East Timor, SCO anti-terrorist agencies, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Russia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Interpol Global Integrated Innovation Center,Lancangjiang-Mekong River Comprehensive Law Enforcement Security Cooperation Center etc, the officials of the public security organs of the provinces and municipalities who are in charge of the big data policing business, the presidents or vice presidents of the police colleges, the heads of the foreign police training bases, the representatives of well-known Internet companies, and the authors nearly 300 guests attended the forum.
